”Everything very smooth. Polite friendly staff. Room lovely, excellent pillows. Everything u need in a room. Ironing board, iron, fridge even a dyson air blower. Plus the usual everyday requirements. The convenience of having a restaurant all in one was great after a long journey. Breakfast very tasty and served on piping hot plates always a plus in my book. Would find it hard to deduct any marks from this venue. Definitely would recommended. ”

”Great one night stay after attending a wedding in the area. Well appointed room, in adjoining stable block, with bottled water, comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast. We were also given a courtesy call on the day to check we were still coming as we were at the wedding. Highly recommend.”

”Hotelli osoittautui loistavaksi valinnaksi. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja huone todella siisti ja tilava. Kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Hotellin alakerran pubi oli rennon viihtyisä , ja hintaan kuulunut aamiainen naapurissa sijainneessa kahvila The Docksissa hyvä . Hotellin sijainti Oxford Streetillä oli todella hyvä. Suosittelen lämpimästi - ei tosin pubin yläkerrassa olevana ole lapsiperheille paras mahdollinen.”

”Superb pub and BnB just outside of Ventnor. The staff were awesome, and the bed and room were really comfortable. The whole trio of Islander pubs / BnB’s on the Isle of Wight, which includes the Buddle, are a real treat to stay in, all of them are superbly well done and extremely welcoming. ”

”If you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. ”Little gem of a bar, restaurant and hotel. Very clean, lovely room very quaint, fabulous food and very friendly/helpful staff. Lovely beer garden and ideally situated for a visit to Osbourne house just literally over the road. Bus stop directly outside of the hotel so good for people without cars.”

"Sisäilma huono. Kahdesta huoneestamme toisessa erittäin huono sisäilma ja katossa jotain mustaa. Myös toisessa huoneessa (ja koko talossa) huono sisäilma. Spa puolelle meno ulkokautta. Muutoin hienon näköinen rakennus niin ulkoa, kuin sisältä."

"Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."
