”We book-ended our trip with stays at the Stone Hedge. The rooms are clean, quirky, and very comfortable. The garden was beautifully in bloom. A wonderful breakfast prepared by Linda and served by Brian got us off to a great start for the day. Airport transfers were greatly appreciated and we got to learn a bit about the area on the drive. So glad we chose this B&B. ”

”David is an excellent host. He thought of everything to make us feel comfortable. Cereal and other breakfast things were available 24 hours as well as bread and peanut butter to make sandwiches anytime of the day. That helped us a lot. David also called a taxi For our early morning, pick up for the airport. Our king bed had a nice firm mattress and we had a large bathroom. Only about 15 minutes from the airport. Would definitely recommend!”

”Enjoyed our recent 3 night stay at the Laburnum cottage. The accommodations were quite comfortable and certainly quiet. The cottage itself is nicely decorated and the hosts were very gracious (I got too used to having breakfast delivered on time every morning!).”

”Power was out when we arrived so no internet! Could not contact owners as they are not on site! We opened door and it smelled horribly musty! It was midnight so we stayed. Next morning power back on and the place was filthy—really hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived! Per on bathroom floor, dirt everywhere! We could not get ahold of owner, nor could hotels.com (we booked thru them). Got ahold of them finally and they told me they would work on a refund. So far—I got nothing! I don’t mind...

”Fantastic view of the ocean right from our bed. Beautiful grounds and excellent breakfast. Kelly & Gabby were very helpful. A hair dryer would have helped my wife.”

”This was a perfect place for our 3 nights stay in Vancouver. The house is located in a very safe area, about 35 min from downtown. We used public transportation train and bus and we felt safe at all times. The hosts Will and Tammy were wonderful. Very nice, gave us lots of suggestions and always responsive. We hope to be back in the future.”

”The place looked recently renovated. With new appliances and bathroom fixtures. Kitchen was stocked with utensils, condiments and even drinks in the fridge. It is located away from traffic and quite ( except a noisy bird ). The hosts are friendly and helpful. Furniture in living room is minimal but satisfactory.”
