The superior double room we had was a bit tired but the main problem was the heat. It was facing the afternoon sun and it had been a hot day. No attempt had been made to draw the curtains to keep the heat out so as a result the room was absolutely stifling. The window would only open about 2 inches so no fresh air could get in overnight. ”The hotel is adorable, very clean. The restaurant was great as well. The only issue we had was the heat. We were there during the heat wave and on the 4th floor. It was incredibly hot in the room and they only had one small fan available that did not work well. The upper floor rooms need at least two heavy duty fans in order to be bearable.”

”Basically I booked this for its location and price. Was very grateful to find we had been upgraded to a family room in the basement. Sadly though other residents weren’t as thoughtful and kept us awake till nearly 3 in the morning, slamming doors and talking loudly outside our window and in hallway. Also room was stiflingly hot. There was a fan but it didn’t reduce heat. Can’t fault how polite and helpful staff were with booking.”
