”This hotel is excellent. They have thought of everything, from earplugs by the bed to a digital Robert’s radio playing classic fm when you arrive. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great bar and restaurant and wonderful staff. I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and this is up there and way better than a lot of far more expensive places I’ve stayed. If I’m ever in the area this will be where I stay.”

”We had a friendly greeting on arrival. The person checking us in went through what we needed to know efficiently. The accommodation was clean, smart and well laid out and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The breakfast was great with a nice variety of cooked options. The staff at all points were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again and would happily recommend here to others”

”The place is amazing. The room is nicely decorated and everything feels very high quality. Friendly staff and easy check-in/out. Breakfast was also good, with many options. Can't wait to visit again!”

”We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!”

”We needed an overnight bed and breakfast option after attending a wedding at nearby Farnham Castle. Dawyk Beech fitted the bill perfectly and was less expensive than an overnight at the castle. Our en suite room was a very generous size overlooking the lovely garden with a comfortable king bed. We needed to check in before the official time of 4.30 to get changed for the wedding and wouldn't be back at the guesthouse until after midnight. I called ahead of our stay to confirm this was OK and...
