Welcome to The Whistlin’ Terrapin—your perfect Lake Anna rental getaway! Just a quick 3.5-minute stroll brings you to the lake, where you can swim right from the dock.

Rainy day? No problem! Outdoor game room in a covered carport with a propane fire pit. You will enjoy ping-pong, foosball, darts and our numerous yard games dry under cover.

Our home is tucked away in a quiet gated neighborhood near the center of Lake Anna, on the public (the larger side with more services - restaurants, stores, marinas).

Here are the highlights:

* Lake access, with boat ramp and four day use docks (no overnight parking). A short 3.5 minute walk to the water!
* Yard games galore: cornhole, ladder toss, yardzee (giant yahtzee for the yard), outdoor bocce and spikeball.
* Family-operated. Not a huge, impersonal company that doesn't really care. We are actually reachable (personal cell phone number provided).

* Free firewood for the fire pit.
* 1-acre property with a fully fenced-in backyard
* Covered deck with seating area and gas grill (propane included)
* Happy to accommodate early check-in/late check-out, scheduling and cleaners permitting. Can't guarantee it, but let's talk a few days before you arrive.


Sleeping Arrangements:
* All linens and towels included. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.
* Master Bedroom – King bed, 40” Roku TV, and a private en-suite bathroom
* Bedroom 2 & Bedroom 3 – Each with a twin-over-queen L-shaped bunk bed
* Living Room – Queen-sized luxury sleeper sofa with a new memory foam mattress (yes, it's actually comfortable!)

TV details:
55” Roku TV in the living room. Roku offers a wide selection of free shows and channels to enjoy. It features a convenient Guest Mode, allowing you to log in with your own streaming accounts—and it automatically logs you out when you check out. Also, only one remote!
