  • Welcome to The Hidden Gem, a spacious 7-bedroom, 10 bed studio building where comfort meets opportunity for groups of all sizes. Mix and match sleeping arrangements that can sleep up to 17 people. Sip coffee in the open living area, challenge friends in the arcade, catch a movie in the theatre, or unwind in the gaming loft—there’s something for everyone. The table seats 12-15 making meals and celebrations effortless. With three bathrooms (two showers and a shower/tub combo), everyone can get ready at their own pace. (All bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main floor) It’s the ideal backdrop for family trips, friends’ getaways, or a peaceful retreat designed to help your group relax and recharge. I’m available to answer questions throughout your stay and help you make the most of your time in Springfield Illinois.

This was a very nice place to stay for a large family kids. House was very stylish and rooms all very nice. Location is near many restaurants and businesses which was very convinced. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice place, we very much enjoyed out stay. Kitchen has everything needed for meals. Plenty of space to relax and/or play games. Host is very responsive.

We hosted a family party of 20 guests and this was a perfect space. The game room was a hit for all ages, and the theatre area was perfect for a slideshow. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything clean.

This converted commercial space makes an excellent location for a large group to gather. Plenty of parking, plenty of bedrooms and beds, and great spaces for medium gatherings, in our case, a tabletop gaming weekend.We'll certainly book this space again in the future.

Hidden Gem was great - exceeded our expectations for a small group weekend. Place is clean, spacious, comfortable! Enough seating in multiple places for everyone! Hosts were perfect! Already planning a trip back!

Amazing property. Great spaces to converse with family/friends, well equipped kitchen, large tables for dinners/gathering, and amazing electronics. The throwback 80's authentic video games were super fun, and we loved the theater style viewing with television set ups. Bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms were cleaner than brand new. Host was very responsive. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to hang out with a larger group of family or friends.

Our hostess was wonderful and very accommodating! We were in Springfield for my mother n laws 95th birthday. We were traveling with 10 grandchildren and neede a place to spread out. This place was amazing! The kids already miss it. We will have to plan another trip!

This property really is a hidden gem. It was impeccably clean, well furnished, and full of entertainment. The theater and arcade games were a treat. The host had labeled everything and left kind notes with other relevant information. Small details, like a child-gate at the bottom of the spiral stairs, show that the host had thoroughly thought through what a guest might want during their stay. In and out access was easy with plenty of parking and privacy. We would absolutely stay at this hidden gem again and would recommend it to anyone staying near Springfield with larger parties.

Our Host, Natalie was very accommodating and helpful. We had the opportunity to meet Natalie. She gave us local places and things to do while we were in Springfield, Illinois.The property was definitely how it was listed in VRBO. As you enter the Property, you walk into the Living Room which is spacious with accommodations to seat our entire family.of eleven very comfortably. And there was still room for more guests.The seven bedroom accommodations were perfect for our needs. There were three full bathrooms, which were spacious and stocked with bathroom supplies. The kitchen had a wide selection of kitchen gadgets, pots, pans, utensils, small appliances , etc. to assist our cooking needs.The room right off from the kitchen was the Dining Room / Theatre Area / Gaming Area. The Dining Table sat twelve people perfectly. Great gathering table to sit and chat too. This room was very popular with the kids as well as the adults. The theatre area room had seven recliner seats, a double size cushion futon seat, and two extra-large round cushions which were very popular with the kids to sit or lay on.The Gaming Area had 4 standing games, Fuzzball Table, and Air Hockey Table.Off from the Gaming Room is a spacious Laundry Room.There was at least Five Parking Spaces reserved for our parking needs.This is a truly a wonderful Property which we highly recommend. Our Family Reunion was very memorable due largely to our Host’s beautiful Property. Thank you, Natalie.
