”The hotel is very new and our bungalow was absolutely beautiful. The area around the hotel is also stunning. It is located by a river, and while relaxing at their beautiful pool area we saw lots of different animals. The area is quiet and little bit further away from the beach, but it takes only 5 minutes by tuk tuk to get there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. I can definetely recommend this hotel.”

Hotel did not advise they did not accept credit and then staff became annoyed when we took too long to find a bank machine. ”A gorgeous spot a little back from the beach (about 1km) but walkable, and easy to get tuktuks. No frills rooms that were delightful. Super friendly hosts who are very familiar with the area and can offer advice and recommendations if needed. The most fabulous breakfast selection each morning, always with variation. Would love to return and totally recommend this spot. ”

”This is a lovely family owned guest house with clean rooms, good food, and amazing hosts. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I am frequently in Hikkaduwa and every time I book here without hesitation. Highly recommend it. The only downside is it is right near the train tracks and you will be waken in the morning by the whistles and rush of the train going by- but if you're an early bird or get back to sleep it's totally worth it.”
