Welcome to the Sail Away Beach Retreat! We have a heated private pool at the property! Free access to Anastasia State Park via neighborhood beach gate!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Newly furnished, spotlessly clean, nautical themed- 4 bedroom, spacious ranch in the heart of Anastasia Island.

On a cul de sac, we are only 3 miles from St. Augustine city! We are also 0.7 miles (less than a 15 minute walk) from the St. Augustine Amphitheatre! King beds in three bedrooms and a bunk with an additional twin bed in kids room. There are also 2 single sized futons in the Florida Room. Everything you need from a fully appointed kitchen, dining room, free WIFI, huge 86” Smart TV, atrium play room for kids! There’s even a lemon and fig tree you are welcome to when they ripen! Wonderful sites, such as the Alligator Farm, Lighthouse, Farmer’s Market weekly at St. John’s pier, all will add to your vacation.

The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!

The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!

We provide a neighborhood beach gate code. You can walk to that access, you may not leave a car there. Free beach access included with rental does NOT include driving access to Anastasia State Park.

The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.

Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house.

The pool heater thermostat is set to a temperature between 78 and 85 degrees F, depending on the time of the year. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 60 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated.

Per St Johns County regulations, only ten people are allowed per rental, not counting children 12-years-old or younger. That means this property is allowed up to 10 adults and the rest of the guests must be 12 and under.

We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.

The home's owner is a handyman and he might stop by if he needs tools or other items from the garage without notice. He will not access the house though at any time without prior permission from guests.
