Hotellit lähellä kohdetta St. Bartholomew the Great

"Staff woke me up by knocking at my door for minutes at 8am when my check out was at 11 despite a do not disturb sign. When I opened the door, they just told me that they would be cleaning my room later. Very weird. Told reception, but they were not intrested."

"Yotel London City hotel is nicely located close to all central attractions. There are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby as well. Hotel’s idea is to have compact hotel rooms to not waste valuable real estate on anything that’s not essential. My room was too compact to my taste. The only window was in the bathroom but you could only see a windowless brick wall in less than a couple of meters distance from it, no sky, not much daylight either. Luckily the nice people of the hotel upgraded my room to a city view for a modest fee and my trip was saved. The breakfast was a positive surprise, good and plenty. I did not gave any cleaning of the room during my four days as there was ”a deal” to exchange the cleaning to a coupon for some treats in the hotel restaurant. It was a disappointment not to receive the coupon either."

"The service was very friendly. The room was a wonderful Riverview suite with a balcony. The views of the city were great! The hotel breakfast was great and of high quality, as was the rooftop bar on the top floor and the cocktail bar on the street level. The hotel facilities were very clean and modern. The location is also great, right next to the Thames."

"Siisti ja iso hotelli keskeisellä paikalla. Hotellin läheisyydessä kävelymatkan päässä on useita nähtävyyksiä. Hotellin vierestä kulkee busseja mm. Oxford Circusille, Tower Bridgelle jne. Viereisessä County Hallissa on Agatha Christien teatteriesitys, London Aquarium ja Paddingtonin seikkailut sekä aivan rannassa London Eye. Saavuimme hotellille ennen puoltapäivää ja koska twin-huoneita ei ollut tuolloin vielä vapaana, niin saimme korotuksen king size -luokkaan maksutta. Tästä huoneesta näimme ikkunasta myös Big Benin. Huone oli tilava ja siisti, sisältäen mm. mikron, jääkaapin ja vedenkeittimen. Hotellin aamupala oli ok, munakokkelia-pekonia-paahtoleipää-jogurttia-hedelmiä-kahvia. Hotellista löytyy myös ihan ok kuntosali (juoksumatot, kuntosalilaitteita, käsipainoja) sekä pieni uima-allas ja sauna/spa. Nämä ovat maksutta vieraiden käytössä, pl span palvelut, kuten hieronta jne. Tämä oli neljäs kerta tässä hotellissa ja voin lämpimästi suositella tätä kaikille. Hotellin henkilökunta on todella ystävällistä ja avuliasta. "

"Huoneen internet oli hieman heikko ja jouduimme käymään aulassa saadaksemme siihen yhteyden. Kerran yhdistyttyään se toimi hyvin. Plussaa oli aulassa oleva vesisäiliö, josta sai ohikulkiessaan ottaa tuoreilla sitrushedelmillä maustettua vettä. Sekä sisään- että uloskirjautuminen sujuivat hyvin. "

"Huone hyvin pieni. Kylpytilan lasiseinä ei antanut tilaa minkäänlaiselle yksityisyydelle. Henkilökunta todella mahtavaa, ystävällistä, avuliasta ja palvelualtista, he olivat hotellissa parasta. Ainoa poikkeus oli eräs siivooja, vanhempi nainen. Hän oli erittäin tyly ja sai olon tuntumaan ei-tervetulleelta, työskenteli mm. tiistaina 11.11. aamulla."
