”We had a wonderful time at the Bull Pen. If you’re looking for a quiet, well equipped secluded base from which to explore the nearby towns and villages, this was hard to beat. The nearest shops are a 5 minute car journey away and there are plenty of pubs in the area if you want a bite out. ”Excellent property. Everything feels new - solid wooden internal doors, downstairs wet room, spacious kitchen/diner, bi-fold doors to patio and garden...We were 4 couples and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights. It's about a 10 min walk to the town. You need to cross the road to get to a path - as it's on a bend visibility isn't great so it can be a bit hairy - if you're planning on staying with kids you'll need to be extra careful. Overall I highly recommend this property.”

"Very nice hotel. Staff was extremely nice and friendly. Not in a way when you visit a luxury 5-star hotel, where you see the extremely polite, but in many cases face friendliness. This hotel really has genuinely friendly staff, who really want you to enjoy the stay. I had a room on the top floor, facing to the sea. There was a great view, and they even had binoculars by the window so that you could see the ships sailing. Breakfast was very good, although the buffet was limited. I took the toast with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, and that was very good."
