Majatalot – St. George Island

”Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning...

”Nice Stay”

”The room was spacious, and the tall ceilings made it appear even larger. We had our Bernese with us, and she enjoyed the extra space in the room. There were plenty of outdoor areas for her to zoom around throughout the day. The staff was friendly, and the surrounding area was quiet. Random - The water pressure was so strong, it was nice to have in the shower but made quite a mess in the sink. ”

The room was very clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of towels...absolutely no complaints. Breakfast had something for everyone & there was plenty of it. Again, the lady who was over-seeing the breakfast area was super pleasant. Great stay! ”

”The cottage was clean and welcoming. The location can't be beat. It is right on the water, quiet and nearby point lookout. Great place to visit and walk our dogs. The property owners were responsive and gave us a nice list of things to do around the area. Would definitely stay again!”
