”The hotel was right next to the train station, so very convenient as a base for travelling in the area as we did. The city is so small that the walk to the bus station (where buses to e.g. the gower peninsula leave), the quadrant shopping centre or the restaurant cluster is no problem. There are a few small convenience stores close to the hotel, which were open til late, and the 24h tesco (not sundays) was also within walking distance. Overall a nice and clean base.”

”From the moment I arrived I knew I had chosen an excellent hotel. The welcome from staff was lovely, they were very helpful, arranging to take my case up to my room ,which was also clean, comfortable and had all I needed. I booked with a friend, each coming from different areas and we were next door to each other which was convenient. The breakfasts were good as were the choices at dinner. I cannot complain about anything as everything was just great. I do hope I can book again next year.”

”The hosts Jackie and Russell were adorable,and nothing was too much to ask. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable, tea and coffee and a kettle in the room. There's two pubs very close by the property,good for food and drinks and socialising. A bus can take you straight into Swansea in about 45 minutes,and it not too far from the beach. We Hope to come again when the weather is warmer. Beautiful country cottage, thank you Jackie and Russell for having us stay at your home. ”

”The friendliness and helpfulness of staff was outstanding. The check in/check out was efficient. The rooms were small but very, very comfortable and clean. Had a great night's sleep. The Swansea market and castle are nearby, shop are an easy few steps away, and there are some great eating options within walking distance. The on-site cafe, Cafe Lucia served great coffee and was a very comfortable, inviting venue. Would stay here again, if we ever get the opportunity to return to Swansea.”

”The hotel and room were clean. However, the bed was not that comfortable as it had a slight slope on each side which tended to roll you out. Breakfast was OK but the food was obviously cooked in advance and then heated up to be served. This didn’t make the food as enjoyable as it would have been had it been freshly cooked. ”

”I've stayed in Swansea a few times but never explored the Marina. With local parking at £5 for 24hours, we were able to come and go as many times as we liked. This was useful as we were avle to drive back and forth between the hotel and our son's student house as much as we needed. The hotel was of a high standard, decorated in a boutique style. We didn't eat breakfast there as we wanted to try out The Observatory for brunch. That was a real find if you like reclaimed decor and the food was...
