Hyvä hotelli, huonetta ei kannata ottaa merenpuolelta, suositun terassiravintolan äänet saattavat kuulua huoneisiin, hyvä aamupala, hotellivieraille maksuton spa / kuntosali on plussaa, hotellissa on 2 suosittua ravintolaa. Helppo liikkua keskustaan. Lisäksi taxi ja bussiasema ovat aivan vieressä. Testattu jo muutaman kerran taidetaan tulla tähän hotelliin seuraavallakin kerralla.

Excellent location, just around the corner from the Liberty Bus station, so taking tours and getting around was easy. All the staff were polite and efficient, even if they didn't always understand what was being said the first time. The only downside was that the room we had was under the eves of the building, so that one side of the bed was difficult to get into/Out of! Apart from that, thoroughly recommended.

This hotel is probably the best located hotel in St Helier. It is close to the bus station and taxi rank as well as to the shops and bars and restaurants. It has a selection of bars and restaurants too within the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel had all we needed. Our only grumble was that the outside of our bedroom window was filthy and we found it difficult to even assess what the weather was like outside!

The position of the hotel is convenient for the shops, the port and the bus station. The standard rooms are extremely 'tight'. There is very little space in the bedroom and a tiny bathroom. No views from the windows. If staying in St Hellier again, I would choose Premier Inn because the rooms are bigger and more 'user friendly'.

There is no mention what so ever when booking that there would be music pounding until 1- 2am from the bar downstairs, if we would have known this we would not have booked this hotel. Arrived on a Wednesday, booked for 5 nights but had to leave on Saturday and cut our trip short as we did not sleep for 3 nights due to the music and noise so we’re exhausted. We booked this trip for my partners 30th birthday and this hotel as it advertises relaxing amenities including a spa, and couple of nice restaurants. It is far from restful. We booked the platinum room and it was filthy, carpet was filthy with some sticky substance on it that kept getting stuck to our feet, hair in the bath, pubes in the sink and the flannels had been used. We politely informed the reception but they did not care. In fact the manager Mr Eric, blamed my girlfriend and said it was her that had used it!! Customer service is terrible and its apparent that all they care about is your money!

Need to keep an eye on the ant issue in the rooms. I think they may have some living in hotel. Other than that the spa is great and good breakfasts. Generally well serviced hotel.

The aircon in my room was particularly noisy and I woke up numerous times during the night. Turning off the aircon made the room too hot. I was glad to get home for a decent night's sleep. The shower was a bit hit and miss too with tepid one minute and scorching hot the next. Difficult to use the complimentary shampoo as it didn't like to come out of the bottle! I would have like to make use of the Spa and swimming pool but time was not on our side as we were over in Jersey trying to sort out our recently deceased Aunt's estate. Perhaps another time - hopefully there will be a room with decent air conditioning and a not so temperamental shower!

The hotel is in an ideal position for everything. No need for taxis to get anywhere as close to the bus station. The restaurants in the hotel are good but shopping is close to hand and no matter what facilities are used the staff are excellent.

The hotel was very close to the bus station, plenty of dining options near by if you didn't want to eat in the hotel. Breakfast was very good and staff very attentive...we will definitely return.

Great location. Great breakfast. Room wasn’t brilliant and quite small. Needed to move room as couldn’t move around bed without hitting my head in eves. Note there is a night club on location and noise could be an issue if room not soundproofed. All in all good but could have been better..

Great location on Liberation Square close to restaurants, shops and transport links. Room was good but cleanliness could have been better (staff need to look under furniture) and service generally good although the bouncer on the door when returning from our meal out on Saturday night was rude and wasn’t particularly a great representation of the hotel in general. Would return based on location and facilities.

No hot water. What more can be said - this is the most basic requirement and the hotel failed. Still charged the same money & I won’t be staying again. Very poor.

Poor experience altogether. Very dated room despite booking a superior room. Only 'allowed' one key card despite multiple travellers. Staff not particularly accomidating to requests.

This would have been a 4/5 star review, however on check out we were accused of taking something from the mini bar, and despite the fact that we told them this was a mistake, we were still charged for it after we left. I had to tone the hotel more than once and was told they needed to investigate before they can issue us with a refund. It’s not about the money but about being treated like a liar over a drink. Shame really as the hotel is lovely otherwise.

We had a lovely 4 days at The Royal Yacht hotel, the room was spacious and welcoming, the staff were very helpful and the whole ambiance was good. The spa and gym were excellent and well maintained and much appreciated. The breakfasts were very good with a large range of options, service was fast and efficient and the dining area has very spacious. We only ate lunch there once, in the Grill Bar, and it was an excellent meal. I can thoroughly recommend the hotel and St Helier, it was cheaper to fly to Jersey, have 4 days at The Royal Yacht than to have two nights at a similar hotel in The New Forest!

small room
We stayed in the older part of the building and the room was very small and felt like it was on a tilt and made me feel vertigo. room 434. But the hotel is amazing, the bars, food and staff are fantastic, the spa is lovely, everywhere is spotless. Our room was just a bit odd in the walk from the door to the window, felt like it was up hill !! The restaurant was so nice too, lovely veiw.

Food poisoning
Food poisoning from the restraunt on the first night. No hot water next day And third day heating not working. Window allows alot of cold air in. Very ill because first night and struggled the rest of the time
