”We loved the school house! It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Opening the front door of the school, was like going back in time to my grade school days. We loved the oak floors. Each room has a different theme. I would have loved to seen them! We stayed in room D, the Lake Room. Room B is the Adventure Room and Room C is the Flower Room. They are working on Room A, which will be the Music Room. The beds were comfy, room was very clean! The only thing I would suggest is...taller...

”Words cannot describe how incredibly beautiful and precious this place is. The location is amazing with spectacular views of the bridge and the property of the host, Mary Lynn has the most spectacular flower and train garden. Speaking of the host, Mary Lynn is the most gracious, kind and accommodating person. She made our stay so special and memorable. We came as friends and when we left we felt like family. We loved our stay and cannot wait to make plans for next trip.”

”Rental property on the inside was as photographed and described. Everything was clean, orderly and in good working condition. Place was cute and quaint. The only downside of our visit was out of the control of the property owners. The outside had thick swarms of what looked to be large gnats. After doing some research, they are midge bugs which come out in the spring starting in April and are at their worst peak in May which is when we stayed. They don't last all summer and they are everywhere,...

”A very cute spot in a convenient area that is walking distance to many things in St. Ignace. We had such a relaxing time and really enjoyed the thoughtful touches from the host. The rental had everything necessary for a short stay. We loved The Wild Blueberry for breakfast / lunch and Buoys for dinner!”

”Don't commit to going unless you have secured contact with the property owner. We arrived and they were unaware that we were coming -- we had no where to stay (& it doesn't help that you'll be stuck on an island with only one other hotel which might be booked).”
