”This is an old property that was recently acquired from what we heard and they plan on updating it. That is what it needs! It was nice but worn and in need of updates. This place was built before cell phones and other electronic devices so is not wired for them. Bring your own cable and plug convertor.”

”The elevator was out of order, the staff called the day before our visit to let us know. I really appreciated them letting us know. It didn’t affect our stay, we didn’t mind walking up stairs to the 2nd floor. The ice machine was also out of order on our floor, a little inconvenient, but I still enjoyed my stay.”

”I’ve stayed in quite a few places and by far this one was the best. Really didn’t need to go anywhere else as had all comforts of home. Close to downtown so walked everywhere in Lawrenceburg yet easy to get to Cincinnati and Kentucky. Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

”Save yourself. Don’t stay here. Why bother, absent some magical notification you won’t have a place anyway. Arrived to the property and people were unexpectedly there. The place was not ready to be rented and the excuse was ‘we didn’t get a notification’ I rented this place because it said it allowed for events. The entire event was ruined. ”The 2 river cabins are great. They were a little hard to find. The hosts Mark and Jan were great. The rooms were clean and the kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked. To get to the bathrooms you had to go through a bedroom which was a little inconvenient. The location on the river was wonderful. We were able to fish, swim and kayak. Nearby restaurants were convenient and Brooks lake was just a short drive away. I would definitely recommend this place for a short getaway. ”
