”The power went off from 12am-5am. They told my husband over the phone when he called to confirm our reservation on a Friday. I usually bring my CPAP machine when I travel and I didn’t because of the power outage being scheduled. And I therefore had a bad nights sleep along with my husband. We went to the theatre and got back to the inn after 11:00. We weren’t ready to go to bed at 12:00 when it went off. ”Booked through Expedia, paid almost $200 to find out that what I booked was a motel not a hotel. The hotel itself has both motel and hotel rooms but that was not mentioned when I booked the room. While we were checking in, we asked to change to a hotel room. The hotel employee asked for over $60 extra if we want to switch. We ended up in the room we booked originally, we didn’t want to pay more.

”Sue and Al are the most wonderful hosts at Cottage on Caledonia and it's a perfect place to stay for a visit to Stratford. The bed is so comfortable, the homemade & quality breakfast is so appreciated, and the space is charming and welcoming. The saltwater hot tub is a huge plus as well! :)
If you're looking for an accommodation with above-and-beyond hospitality, look no further. Can't wait to stay again!”

”Our stay was great. Check in and check out were so fast, there was no line. They greeted us with warm cookies which was such a nice touch. They also accommodated an early check in as we had a wedding to get to.
Parking was $30 and when we returned to the hotel the lot was full, I thought for sure they were going to tell us we would have to find other parking but they instead gave us permission to park right outside the front doors.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet.
