”Really nice hotel, great staff, friendly, helpful and polite. Nice, clean facilities. Some quaint and quirky features. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend. ”
”Great hotel. Location is prefect from the station and so central for exploring York.
Our room was clean and spacious. Space to chill in room after a day exploring.
Didn't have breakfast at the hotel as really felt £30 per person was far too expensive.

”The loft is very spacious, and the room is nice as well. However, they don’t provide a toothbrush or bottled water, so you’ll need to bring your own. There’s an induction cooker, so you can cook instant noodles yourself.”
”Your classic inn with worn down rooms and most basic breakfast. Uninterested staff who coukdn’t care less that there were BLOOD STAINS on the rug of our room. Got another room which after confirming two times was not similar than the bloody one we left behind. ”
”Communications before during and after our stay was superb. Our room was spacious spotless and free from any other guest noise. The small treats in the room were a nice touch. The only slight issue was no shower gel in the bathroom so I had to use my wife’s. At least it made me smell sweet . Unfortunately due to our early start we didn’t have breakfast which did smell really nice. We are doing the York 10k event again and will stay here preferably room 14 ”
”Room was pretty cold (17 C) but heating unit helped a bit. Room was a little dirty but it was ok. Parking possibility for 10 GBP/night. Breakfast was ok, nothing fancy. Pretty old building - brought nice vintage feel but ventilation lacking. Friendly staff!”
