”Great pub/restaurant, decor and food. Rooms were basic but comfortable for one night stay”

”Dirt in the room and under the bed. Staff generally good. Booking came with a room upgrade due to status. Room upgrade didn’t occur despite the hotel being empty and having availability on their website. Emailed the hotel through Expedia app (replying to the message they sent me) asking questions. That was ignored and not responded to. Dinner food quality was poor considering my the level they quote themselves to be at and prices charged. Ice cream for dessert clearly suffering from freezer burn...

”This is my third stay here, and my first in one of the outbuildings. Despite my stated wish to be in the main building, I was assured I would love my upgraded room. I didn't. I had a huge lovely bedroom and bathroom, with no closet. The closet was in a second bedroom which room, as a solo traveler, was of no use to me. Both that room and the bathroom had a step down which I found annoying/dangerous. However, everything else was lovely. Breakfast buffet and related service was great, dinner was...

”We had a ground floor room with patio which was perfect for our dog. First day our room had not been serviced, but next 2 days it was all fine. We ate in the restaurant onthe first afternoon which was very good. Service was excellent as well. Very good breakfast. Nice & close to Stratford on Avon.”

”Lovely clean room, included fridge, ironing board, iron as well as the usual things you'd expect like tea/coffee facilities, desk, TV, toiletries, hair dryer. Comfy bed. I'd recommend to stay here but if you're a light sleeper you may need ear plugs as occasional traffic can be heard. Excellent breakfast choice, cooked breakfast made fresh to order. Would definitely stay here again ”

”Bar understaffed but staff were very friendly. We paid £300 for a room for the night and would have expected a coffee machine for that price. Parking in hotel is ridiculously expensive £15 for the first 24 hrs then another £15 for even an hour longer than that. The garden is lovely and bar food reasonably priced.”

”The stay was great, my only concern was with Expedia, I booked a room with full breakfast, then moved the day on one day, Expedia changed the date and I paid the difference, what didn’t tell me was the booking now didn’t include breakfast!! The stay at the hotel was great, great position, nice bar.”
