Ole vieraamme! Sandy Shores on ollut Hall-perheessä yli 60 vuotta, ja sen omistaa ja hallinnoi tällä hetkellä Myrtle Hall. Myrtle on Saksan syntymä ja muutti Indian Rocks Beachille vuonna 2000, kun hän meni naimisiin myöhäisen aviomiehensä Nedin kanssa. Nedin isoäiti osti Indian Rocks Beach -kiinteistön vuonna 1946. Nedin isä George Hall rakensi ensimmäisen kaksikerroksisen rakennuksen vuonna 1952. Yhden tarinan Gulf Cottage (vrbo / 78339) seurasi vuonna 1972. Nedin perhe asui täällä talvella ja vietti kesän Ithaca, NY, missä hänen isänsä oli golfvalmentaja Cornellin yliopistossa yli 40 vuotta. Ned seurasi jalanjälkeään PGA-opettajana yli 25 vuotta. Hän opetti Clearwaterin golfkerhossa, joka sijaitsee Clearwaterissa, Floridassa, kun Myrtle, Floridassa lomalla Saksasta, tapasi hänet vuonna 1998. Myrtle ja Ned, tietysti, pitivät häät kauniiden Sandy Shoresin edessä!

Kuten Ned, myös Myrtle rakastui tähän kauniiseen omaisuuteen ja sen rikkaaseen perhehistoriaan. Ned ja Myrtle alkoivat vuokrata mökkinsä vuonna 2005 täydellisen kaunistamisen jälkeen ja nauttivat joka minuutista jakamalla tämän ihanan kiinteistön vierailleen. Myrtle jatkaa Sandy Shoresin Hall-perheen vieraanvaraisuusperinteitä ja lisää erityisen saksalaisen lämpömerkkinsä. Sandy Shores on erittäin ainutlaatuinen "viipala vanhaa Floridaa", jossa on paljon kukkia, kämmenet, oleskelualueet, yksityisyys, kaikissa rento ilmapiiri. Kiinteistössä on vain neljä yksikköä ja niistä kolme vuokraa viikoittain - joten suurin osa ajasta on koko paikka itsellesi.
Persianlahden mökki on yhden tarinan, yhden makuuhuoneen talo, erittäin yksityinen, rauhallinen ja puhdas upealla esteettömällä näkymällä Meksikonlahdelle. Siinä on king-vuode ja queen-vuodesohva.
Keittiössä on kaikki mitä kokki haluaa, mukana on iso jääkaappi, astianpesukone, mikroaaltouuni ja liesi. Kylpyhuoneessa on kylpyamme / suihku.

Persianlahden mökin ja maisemoidun pihan takana on kaksikerroksinen rakennus - ylimmässä kerroksessa, jossa asun - alla olevien PATIO- ja GARDEN-mökkien kanssa.
Patio on king-vuode ja kuningatar vuodesohva, puutarha on queen-vuode ja
kuningatar vuodesohva. Molemmissa on täydellinen keittiö, jossa liesi, jääkaappi ja mikroaaltouuni.
Kylpyhuoneessa on kylpyamme / suihku.

Our stay at the Patio Cottage was great. We were greeted by Myrtle, the owner, who gave us a warm welcome and detailed overview of the cottage and amenities. The cottage had everything we needed. It is not your fancy high rise condo, instead, it’s a one story, quaint, cozy, old time, very clean beach cottage. The gardens and grounds are well kept, it was so nice relaxing in any of the many sitting areas, enjoying the beautiful gardens and beach view. The location right on the beach is wonderful, and then across the street there are multiple dining options, and a beach store. We are already looking forward to our next stay there.

5 Star, 2 Thumbs up, A, and all the above. This cottage was stunning and perfect for a quick trip to the beach. Myrtle, the owner, is warm & welcoming. She told us the history of the beautiful home and garden and gave us a thorough tour of the grounds. The room is exactly as described and shown online. She even greeted us during our "checkout" and wished us good travels. We can't wait to go back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Myrtle Hall’s wonderful patio cottage this past November. It was a great time right from the start. Upon our late afternoon arrival, she guided us right through her well-appointed beachfront property to view a beautiful Florida sunset. What a thoughtful way to welcome guests! The grounds and the accommodations were lovely. Myrtle goes to great lengths to provide a comforting experience, carefully explaining everything from parking to using the TV. The location is ideal for beach strolls and offers close proximity to fine and casual dining. The apartment had beach towels, beach chairs and loungers, fully stocked bathroom including shampoo, conditioner, moisturizing lotion, and even bug spray and sun tan lotion. The kitchen had salt and pepper and the refrigerator had butter. If we had to name one favorite characteristic, it would be that there are only 2 other guest parties (at most) staying there with you, so it feels very calm and private.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the beach cottage. The cottage had a warm and cozy atmosphere and had everything we needed. We walked through a garden path to directly access the beach. It was just beautiful. We hope to stay there again one day.

I had an amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, the host was incredibly attentive and welcoming—making sure everything was perfect and that I felt right at home. The cottage itself is comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.The beachfront location is absolutely stunning—just steps from the sand with gorgeous views and peaceful surroundings. I especially loved relaxing on the patio, enjoying the sea breeze and sunsets.The convenience of nearby shopping and restaurants made it easy to explore and enjoy the area without any hassle. Truly a perfect spot for a beach getaway— I can’t wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful grounds, and you don't even have to leave them to see sunset! Great lounge chairs to catch some rays, either on the beach or right there on property! Having Myrtle living on site was a comfort, knowing if you needed anything, she was right there. Very sweet woman who made us feel at home. The cottage itself was fully stocked and just perfect for the 2 of us!

Wonderful location and gracious host!

My husband and I stayed for a few days. We had a wonderful experience. Just steps to the beach and you cannot beat that. Several restaurants in the area to walk to. Just overall a lovely place.

A Little Slice of Paradise

Our stay with Myrtle at Sandy Shores was fantastic! We stayed in the Patio Cottage and had everything we needed in a cozy cabin-like atmosphere. We enjoyed the beautiful lush gardens and the spectacular sunsets. We met several other guests while there, who were all repeat guests, that shared their love for Sandy Shores with us - and we now understand why. Staying here is like a warm hug. Wonderful Getaway

Sandy Shores was a perfect place to soak up the sun and enjoy a balance of peace and quiet and activities. The Patio Cottage was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. A king size bed, cable tv, internet, kitchen, bath, grill, patio and right next to the beach. Good restaurants within walking distance. Our hostess, Myrtle responded to emails and texts and really made us feel welcome. Our area did not feel overly commercial and had a nice neighborhood feel. It was great and we would do it again!

Patio is the Beach!

Vintage gem that survived the hurricanes…the gardens are being restored to their former beauty. Exactly as pictured. Very clean, pleasantly surprised by amenities like coffee, beach towels and supplies.

Absolute Gem

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Myrtle and her homes are. The place was beautiful, very clean, and an amazing location. You really had everything you needed within walking distance. Myrtle was incredibly friendly, very thorough in her tour, and easy to communicate with. I wish we had more time to sit and chat with her. We came for a wedding and were quite busy most days, but that is the one thing I regret, not getting more time to chat with Myrtle. She is absolutely amazing! We had #2, the Patio, and it was perfect for the 2 of us. It had a very comfy king bed and 2 pull out sofas. There was more than enough built-in storage and closet spaces to accommodate all your luggage. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook, open a bottle of wine, and clean up after yourself. Myrtle provided wifi passwords and cable, or you could log into your apps. Even though we came in after 2 very powerful hurricanes, you couldn't tell. She had the place in tip-top shape like nothing happened. Some plants were damaged, but she had new ones placed around, and you could tell she takes great pride in her units and the garden. It was stunning! I can't wait to see it next summer! You have a short paved path, and then you're on the sand of Indian Rocks Beach. What more can I say. You can leave your unit barefooted, walk a few feet, and have your toes in the sand. You couldn’t ask for a better place. Stunning location!

Beautiful garden on the beach

Sandy Shores provides everything one needs for a great vacation in IRB. Myrtle is a gracious and helpful host. The apartment is clean, well-maintained, and full of character. The garden is lovely and provides comfortable places to relax, the beach is on the doorstep, and great restaurants are nearby. We've visited three times already and we look forward to returning.
