Guest 1: Our stay at this location was not enjoyable at all. It says gated. However, the gate isn't in use. While the location was convenient, the aesthetic qualities were lacking. There were only sheer curtains (no blinds) in the house so at night we tried to stay in one interior bedroom. because you could see into the house. As a group of females, we did not feel safe. Next, there were strange noises/sounds coming from the attic on one side of the house. It sounded as if someone or something was walking and or dragging something. The owner sent someone out on the last day of our stay but was adamant it was a tree branch scratching the roof. Needless to say sleep was scarce. Finally, the washer sounded like it was possessed, there were sugar ants in the bedroom and bathroom on the same side of the house with the noises, the towel racks were flimsy in two bathrooms and kept falling down, the kitchen utensils didn’t seem to be clean (we ate out daily), and there were some strange droppings/shavings in one of the kitchen drawers. Suffice it to say we enjoyed Tampa, but would not stay in this property again. Would not recommend this property.
Guest 2: Upon entry, we were met with a musty smell. The house was outfitted with air fresheners but they were empty.
The house was hot. Paying an absorbent amount of money to rent the home, customers should be allowed to set the thermostat themselves. Having to contact the owner to adjust it remotely was a nuisance.
The home was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was hair on the beds, a dead spider on the sink in the front bathroom, ants in the back bedroom and questionable droppings in one of the kitchen drawers.
Walking barefoot in the house was not an option as the floors were dirty. Our socks were brown by the end of the day.
The towel rack in the primary bathroom fell down if items were placed on it. The towel rack in the front bathroom was broken off an unusable.
Guest 3:
All of the above and as a group of women, security was a huge concern. Thicker curtains should be installed to provide additional privacy. Especially because it is off a main road.
It was supposedly set to 61 but the house was uncomfortable and thermostat stated at 78-80 degrees. As prior guests stated floors were dirty. Only Plus: Large living room
