Very Relaxing Stay

We very much enjoyed our stay here for almost one month. We have stayed at the sunrise resort several times and are always more than pleased with the location, the large heated pool and the friendly onsite management office. This unit has a very comfortable king size bed, and we enjoyed being on the second floor as we were able to easily walk up and down the stairs and did not need to take an elevator. The resort is in great condition. They have fixed everything from the hurricane and even freshened up the landscaping. We also enjoyed trying out the Sunrunner bus which stops very close to the resort and goes all the way into Saint Pete to the pier. We took it there on a Saturday morning to enjoy the weekly market with all the fresh vegetables and food trucks. Just really cannot beat the location! Will gladly come again.

Perfect Location to Explore St. Pete’s to Pass-a-Grille

This was the perfect location for us. Parking was easy, there was an elevator (we used the stairs but an elevator is always a bonus), it was close to the beach, and had all the amenities advertised. We found the area to be pretty bike friendly (one intersection was a little hairy), the pool area was nice and clean with plenty of seating, and the rooms were just what we needed. We would definitely stay here again - the hosts were great to work with.

Nice location

Great location and accommodations matched description exactly. Only negative thing I could say was that it could’ve been a little more clean. Particularly the floor. Seems it’d been awhile since it saw a mop.

Perfect Family Space

We loved our stay at this location. The condo was perfect, two separate rooms and bathrooms. Full kitchen and a comfortable dining and living room space. The patio is open to the pool and bay, giving a great sunrise view. Beach chairs, children’s beach toys available for use, much appreciated as the beach is right across the street. The resort was quiet and guests were pleasant and welcoming. Our only miss was no laundry detergent for the washer/dryer. Other than that we had everything we needed and would absolutely book again.

Peaceful and Quiet Stay Near Many Amenities

We enjoyed our stay at the unit. The back grounds with the canal and pool area were lovely, and we spent a fair bit of time there. The unit was clean, and well stocked with all we needed, as well as having easy beach access across the street. Thank you for the stay.

Great location for a beach getaway

Needed a getaway and this was the perfect location. Spent a lot of time on the balcony enjoying the water view. Condo was comfortable and stocked with what I needed. Easy access to restaurants by car or walking. Walkway out to water was beautiful . Condo amenities were perfect !

Note to owner

Hardest part was lack of temperature control. Thermostat was not adjustable. Felt humid and sticky. We felt a lack of bedding and pillows. we ended up purchasing 2 pillows which we left for future guest. The cable box in smaller bedroom did not work. We love sunrise resort and had an awesome stay as we always do. We just want Harry to know about our feelings and suggestions on our stay.

We had a wonderful time at The Sunset Resort. Didn’t get to experience the resort as much as we’d like to but we would come back again. The room, pool, hot tub and access was great! My one and only complaint was that it’s across from the beach not on it but it’s not a bad walk.

Highly recommend!

The unit had everything we needed and the property was nice and quiet. My husband said it was the most comfortable bed he has ever slept on! The instructions were easy to follow. The property is well located, we walked to everything we needed. Great getaway for the family! Highly recommend!

Fabulous time in St.Pete

Condo complex is very well maintained and in a perfect location. Beach access is easy and the back view of the bay is beautiful. Condo is perfectly laid out and everything is exactly what you need.

Perfect Vacation Spot

Great location and view! Quiet and close to the beach. Property safe and secure. Beautiful pool area. However, lack of storage in second bedroom. We couldn’t get the tvs to work and found no instructions on how to do so. Overall, a very good experience and hope to return.

Overall sufficient

The rental met our needs in terms of location. The pool and hot tub were great. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. It was very cold when we were there so the cement floors started to sweat and became so bad by Christmas that there were puddles on all the floors. Not the homeowners fault, just Mother Nature and bad luck.

This condo was perfect for what we were looking for. The pool area is great, the pool temperature was perfect, grill area was great, easy walk to the beach and close to many restaurants, etc. The building also had a tennis court and shuffle board area and provided the necessary equipment. The condo had everything we needed for the beach. The owner was easy to reach and very friendly. We would definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

No access code provided upon arriving, bathroom leak

Upon arrival, opened vrbo email for access, which stated host has yet to update access codes. Called vrbo and chatted host, took over two hours to get codes to get into our rental. Made us an hour late to our reservations. Next day, huge leak in bathroom ceiling water dripping and formed a bubble. Sent message to vrbo and host at 9pm w pictures, no response to the following day. We had to move all our belongings out of bathroom and used towels to keep water from leaking to bedroom. down a whole bathroom w 3 females getting ready for Halloween…. Then, was asked to pay $105 charge for dirty towels used for containing the leaky water on check out! Ridiculous. I’m asking for a full refund at this point. Do not stay here!!

Wunderbare Tage in St. Pete Beach

Zwei Wochen nachdem Hurricane Ian die Westküste von Florida erreicht hatte und dabei Fort Myers stark traf, durften wir mehrere Nächte im Condo verbringen. Und wir haben den Aufenthalt sowas von genossen! Die Unsicherheit hatte im Vorfeld zu einem regen Mailverkehr mit dem Vermieter geführt. Und Harry hat uns toll begleitet, informiert und dadurch auch beruhigt. Zum Glück konnten wir die Reise antreten!!! Nicht nur ist die Liegenschaft für Ausflüge in die Gegend super gelegen (3 min. zum Strand, nahe des Freizeitparks Busch Gardens oder zum Manatee Schorchel in Crystal River), sondern auch toll eingerichtet. Die Küche ist komplett, die Zimmer gross und sehr wohnlich eingerichtet. Neben der Abwaschmaschine machen auch Waschmaschine und Tumbler das Leben einfach. Auch Strandspielzeug und -klappstühle werden gestellt. Und wer sich um's Haus betätigen will, dem stehen Shuffleboardgeräte, Schläger, Bälle usw. im Recyclingraum des Hauses zur Verfügung. Es fehlt unserer Meinung nach einfach an nichts. Wir können den Aufenthalt fast vorgehaltlos empfehlen. Einziger Hinweis für lärmempfindliche Mieter. Unterhalb des Balkons befinden sich Pool und Gemeinschaftsplatz der Liegenschaft. Hier kann es am Abend mal etwas lebhaft werden. Doch wer in den Ferien sowieso später zu Bett geht oder sich vielleicht beteiligen mag, den sollte das nicht stören :-)
