”We loved our stay here! Our room was spacious, included a mini kitchen, and had nice, cold AC. The views from the property were gorgeous. Location was excellent and close to downtown Charlotte and not a far drive to the multiple beaches we visited. On the few occasions we dined on-site, the food was great and the cocktails were excellent. I would highly recommend it!”

”What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Little touches everywhere were not overlooked by my family. ”

”Welcoming historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful for any in room needs and knowledgeable for recommendations in town for restaurants and shopping. The restaurant was delicious (the restaurant staff was friendly, personable and amazing), we were visited by the head chef/mastermind, mixologist and manager while dining and all interactions were fantastic.

”The hotel definitely needs a major upgrade. From my understanding, the property was built in 1984, and it shows in many areas. However, the rooms were clean and the AC worked very well, which made the stay comfortable. With some renovations and updates, this hotel could be a really great place to stay.”
