We had a wonderful stay at this B&B! So convenient for us on our way back home from Spain. Had a very comfortable night and a great breakfast the next morning. Enjoyed chatting with our hosts as well. Highly recommend.

We wanted a good nights rest and a last taste of London before flying back to the US from Europe. Heathrow Cottages was perfect! Lovely historic building with a SUPER comfortable bed, GREAT shower and towels, a generous tea tray set up in the room and delicious breakfast in the morning. PLUS, an included ride to the airport in the morning. We definitely recommend you give them a try!

It's quite pleasing and surprising to find an actual 17th century cottage, nicely converted with elegant up-to-date bathroom and a very agreeable lounge and dining area. I can't comment on the breakfast because my plane left too early. Pleasant host was helpful about places nearby to get evening meal, but did not get back to me to book a taxi for the next morning as he had said he would. In general communication was not great. I was under the impression from the website that they could provide an airport transfer from Heathrow, but multiple calls emails ahead of time got no response. So I ended up paying 40 GBP for a 9 minute, 2.7 mile ride from Terminal 5. In addition, I almost missed my morning flight when a scheduled taxi cancelled in the night. That's not the fault of Heathrow Cottages, but does show does illustrate the downside of booking a charming b&b a bit out of the way at the south end of the airport. It would have been cheaper for me to hire a car for the journey from Bury St Edmond on the morning of my flight.

Great room, comfy bed and soft pillows. The bathroom was very large with an amazing shower. First really hot water we had in 10 days of traveling. Nice little cookies and tea things in room. The owner gave us a ride to the airport in the morning, but be sure to let them know ahead of time that you need a ride. Breakfast is not included in the price but the “continental” breakfast was better quality than you normally see. We would stay here again if the opportunity arose. Not many dinner options in the neighborhood as we had turned in our rental car already, but we ended up eating in a pub called the Five Bells where the people were friendly and welcoming.

We loved the comfortable and updated convenience of this unique house. Very accommodating and friendly owners who made tea (or coffee) in the afternoon and with breakfast available. We enjoyed the ambiance of the room in a house built in the 1600's that had a great shower, fluffy towels and comfortable bed. The free shuttle to the airport was appreciated. My sister and I walked around the neighborhood and visited a very old beautiful church. Later we went to the local pub for an outstanding dinner (fish and chips for me and meat pie for my sister.). All in all, it was a delightful visit.

Para nosotros fue decepcionante. Les dije la hora exacta en que llegaba y me exigieron que los llamara al llegar. Les dije no tenía uso del teléfono para llamadas y me dijeron que fuera a información y que ellos llamarían. Fuimos a 3 sitios que decían información y ninguno quiso hacerlo. Tuve que pedirle un favor a alguien para que hiciera la llamada... Según la reservación, un transporte estaba incluido. Yo quise pagar el regreso (£19.95=$25.68) y ellos no lo aceptaron así. Ya en el carro, no me quisieron llevar al aeropuerto hasta que les pagara en cash 40 libras ($51.49). No aceptan tarjetas de crédito. Solo teniamos euros y entonces me hicieron pagarles €50=$55.67). O sea, terminamos pagandoles $30 extra. Yo quisiera que uds me reembolsaran por el traslado que estaba incluido en la reservación y que no se nos cumplió. Este cottage es del año 1600algo y está torcido y todo desnivelado. La casa no está en buenas condiciones, solo que le hicieron una añadidura para alquilar cuartos, pero la estructura esta vencida. Muy, muy decepcionada con esta estadía. Por favor espero me reembolsen el dinero que me hicieron pagar extra.

The manager was helpful, and my room (number 4) had a nicely updated bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The downsize was I wasn't expecting to be in a run-down looking neighborhood, and as a woman traveleing alone, I felt a bit uncomfortable walking to the store to get some food. The manager drove me to the airport in the morning which was a nice plus!

Quaint, but so comfortable!!
The host was fantastic! My room was not for a tall person, but was very comfortable and had all the amenities! It is very close to the airport and the host shuttled me to my flight the next morning. I didn’t have a car, and it was in a neighborhood, so plan for food in advance!

Friendly owner, property looks nicely kept and they are continuously making upgrades to keep this place pleasant and nice. The shower is great, with powerful pressure with the main shower head, and it has a handheld shower heaad option to the side of the main shower which is real nice. The area around the property is quiet and rich with trees and fresh green grass, the weather is cloudy at times and wet which makes the enviornment so relaxing to walk and explore.

It was 10 minutes from airport, very cute neighborhood, we stayed for overnight layover, I would recommend more for a couples get away. We were to walk around the neighborhood before we left in morning and enjoyed it.

Very helpful owners. Very clean room with a very comfortable bed. Loved all the little touches that made for a comfy stay: lots of plugs, different lighting options, towel warmer, nice toiletries, and lots of tea, coffee, and biscuits :) You can tell the staff really care.

This cottage was spacious, quaint, and quiet—the perfect place to relax for my final night in the UK. The shuttle to the airport the following morning was such a time and stress saver. I wish I could have stayed longer and soaked up the English charm!

Could be quant with some TLC
We had an overnight layover. I chose this room because it is listed as close to the airport and “transfers from the airport were included. I tried calling several days before our arrival to make sure we would get picked up and again upon landing but no one answered.I tried the Hotel.com chat option but that customer service person sent an email to the property and wrote that was all they could do. That was very unhelpful as we waited at the airport uncertain if anyone was even at the property to let us in. I finally reached a Hotels.com customer service rep who was able to contact the property. That rep was helpful but said I was supposed to follow an email from the property to arrange ground transportation. I never got an email. We also found out that the property is out of the zones that taxis must service so we had to wait to find a taxi willing to accept us. A $50 taxi ride later we finally made it to the property. The room is in a very old cottage which could be very quaint with some TLC. The room has some interesting features such as exposed beams, a French door to a patio (overgrown with a grape vine so you can’t open it) and was well stocked with tea, coffee and expired packages of cookies. The bathroom was lovely with a beautiful shower, fluffy towels and toiletries. The room and bathroom were clean. The host was pleasant but we couldn’t find him in the morning and we had asked for a a 7:30 ride to the airport. We missed our plane.
