”This was a beautiful property. The horse pastures were right outside the cottage. There is a hiking trail on the property that was a nice surprise. Highly recommend this cottage and would stay again. ”

”Charming cottages (both the Tea House & Ivy Rose) on a lovely property with great location. Mary is a kind and accommodating host! The cottages are unique & rich with character. Access to the Tea House does involve a handful of gracefully landscaped steps down to it’s private outdoor porches. A great spot for coffee in the morning! Will return. ”

”The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs...

”Overall a very nice clean and convenient location for visiting Charlottesville, VA. FYI the turn into the driveway, when headed east is a steep turn, which can be tricky at night the first time. One thing that would be nice is a compact washer & dryer unit; that said this is an excellent location in a beautiful setting.”
