”Upon arrival, we discovered that our room had two single beds pushed together rather than the double bed advertised. Given the record-breaking temperatures over the bank holiday, the climate in the room was exceptionally hot. We discovered that one of the radiators was on full blast and with no control valve to turn it off. With no air conditioning we were forced to open the windows. However, our room was located directly above the hotel kitchen and it's extractor fan which was extremely loud...

”Excellent location. Top floor has a lovely sea and beach view. Reception were friendly and booking in easy. The choice of breakfast was excellent as were the breakfast staff. The only downside was that I booked during the heatwave and there’s no air conditioning in the room. A fan is provided-but in extreme heat air conditioning would’ve been perfect. I recommend this hotel and will return in the future.”

The room was clean, though in need of a few bits of maintenance (loo roll hooder rusty and broken, water in the sink due to the plug not staying out, loose socket by the bed). The bedding was clean and there were a good selection of pillows with different hardness. The mattress was a little thin but ok. The room got cold in the evening but there was an electric radiator in the cupboard. The front was within a few minutes walk so convenient. I...
