”The site is beautiful and very secluded! Visitors must have a vehicle that can drive on dirt, rocky road that maybe muddy. I made it through with a minivan w/ AWD but I was nervous in some tight spots. Not a location for large vehicles to get through. Once at the site there was plenty of space to maneuver a vehicle. Setup a tent right under the pavilion & park a vehicle close by for easy access to items. Toilet is available but nothing fancy - this is camping. It has an actual toilet seat and...

Welcoming staff on arrival - felt personal and inviting. The Hampshire room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Old English vibe. Dinner and the complimentary breakfast were delicious. Enjoyed walking around the property and playing some of the outdoor games. Definitely will be back.”

”It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous. ”This was so beautiful!! We absolutely loved it. We had a nice fire in the evening, grilled some burgers, and showed off our horrible boating skills (honestly it was fun to just row in circles and laugh, but the river is calm and has lovely views). It is easy to drive to the market for anything you need or other small towns for a day trip. We had minor issues with outside lights but it made it more fun to see things by firelight and fireflies. It's a great place to stay if you want to be an easy, short ride to some awesome trails and you just need a reliable home bass to hang out, get a good, hot shower, make some food, and get some sleep before heading out to do your outdoor activities. Not suitable if you're seeking luxury. But it's a great place otherwise. The owners are planning some upgrades over time, and it was already upgraded some since our last stay.
