”A very pleasant stay at “The Carps”. Very pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed and roomy shower room. The room layout reflects the history of the property with a couple of shallow steps between the bedroom and shower. We stayed for dinner and were rewarded by a tasty meal. A good selection of vegetarian options. Our usual habit of swapping plates half though very much went by the board. Breakfast was very good with both millennial and traditional...

”Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel! The breakfast was delicious and the staff very helpful. I didn't have a chance to visit the pool and sauna however. Only item to note is the central heating system was broken the weekend that I stayed. The hotel helpfully supplied a portable heater, which helped in the evening. ”

”Location is perfect, close to lots of things to do and see. The staff are all very nice and friendly, can't folt them at all. The room we stayed in could do with a bit of an upgrade in the bathroom and a freshen up but it was still a nice enough stay. Food was beautiful, dining room was very clean and nicely presented. ”This B&B was great, just outside Bath. They had newly renovated rooms, very comfortable and bathroom looked almost new. Extra touches, like water bottle, bath products. Wifi worked well. There is also a restaurant/pub, but I did not have time to test their dinner menu, maybe next time! Breakfast menu was wide and very good! I would definitely recommend.”
