”Fantastic food in the restaurant. ”

”Historic old building in a beautiful setting. Quirky but relaxing and the outdoor spa is an amazing experience. Clean comfortable room. No refrigerator though. I was in a newer extension towards the rear of the hotel and the walls were a bit thin. I could hear the extractor fans from the bathrooms around me. But zero traffic noise.”

”Room climate control kept returning to 19 deg C despite attempts to up temperature to 22 deg C. I woke up with a migraine and could not partake of either the spa or buffet breakfast which was included in my stay so cannot comment on these aspects of the hotel facilities.”

”Great value, basic, clean, not modern but did its job. I needed a comfy bed, clean bathroom, nice and peaceful, good parking and great breakfast. It was cheap. Great family hotel, very friendly.”

”Overall pleasant accommodation although the arrival/ check in process was a little bit confusing, not helped by the poorly lit surroundings. Rooms are modern, warm and cosy, although pillows didn’t have cases and quite a bit of the previous guest’s hair on both the pillow and in the shower.”

”The room was so tastefully decorated, the bed was incredibly comfy. Dan was so helpful and very communicative. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to others. ”

”Didn't meet any staff, I was dealt with via text, which is a little impersonal. There was a layer of dust on the top of the wardrobe but everything else was clean and I had everything I needed. The towel was very small. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge worked very well and was silent. Overall the stay was fine for what I needed and yes I would return. ”
