”Bear Cottage is our Happy Place. From the rustic cottage, to the beautiful lake, the animals, fowl, reptiles to the everything nature it is perfect on all levels. ”A visit to the Northwoods is always refreshing. My dog and I stayed here for 5 nights in August and had a wonderful experience. The pre-stay communication with the owner was very prompt and detailed with all questions answered. I had a special request for some health needs I have, and she graciously made sure all was ready for me upon arrival. Check-in was easy and the cabin itself was sparkling clean and inviting. The wooded surroundings were so relaxing and I loved the fire pit and comfy patio...

”Very clean, whole property is well kept, owners are readily available and we enjoyed visiting with them on the pier over coffee. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen well stocked, the view of the lake from the cottage is amazing Very quiet for sleeping and convenient to Manitowish Waters for shopping.”

”We had a great week at the cabin. Stayed with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, our two young granddaughters, and our dog. The cabin was great and had a perfect feeling of a traditional cabin with all the modern amenities . Property was nicely secluded and the lake was quiet most of the time. We enjoyed the SUP’s they had there as well as the kayaks and canoe. Fishing off the pier was great and we (our grand daughters) caught tons of pan fish. ”
