”Right by the university. Very convenient for meetings and a short 1-2 day trip. Can park and either walk or take Tamu buses around. All areas very well taken care of. ”
”My first time staying at The George hotel was very nice!! Beautiful scenery and great atmosphere!! Really cozy vibes and friendly workers. Bed was very comfortable. Pool area was nice and clean and definitely a nice, relaxing vibe!! Loved it.
The pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but that's just a personal preference. I loved the shower, but it was very slippery and it didn't have any shower handles for you to hold on to. A bath mat would have been nice.

”The place is beautiful and elegant without being pretentious. The decor is on point with a very nostalgic feel. It is like entering a hotel in the 30s. Just gorgeous. I love that the integrity of the design remained. The only thing I would suggest is getting valet parking. It is a bit uncomfortable to get there and carry all your luggage from a block away because there is no actual hotel parking or valet. It still didnt deter me from giving them a perfect score. I would visit again.”
