We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good. ”Wish we could have stayed longer. This area is the only place my husband and I truly relax. House and location were excellent. My only complaint would be that the grass needed mowed. My chihuahua didn't like the grass touching her belly.”

”Owners were very responsive when we had to contact them regarding an issue with the home. They were extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. They have all the basics including propane for the grill, salt, pepper, spices, they even had shampoo and body wash! It was a perfect space to watch the sunset and be among friends. ”We had a wonderful time at the farmhouse. The house is a great blend of historic farmhouse with modern amenities. Soooo quiet - the occasional cow and rooster from a distance is all we heard at night. The stars were breathtaking.Very easy access to Shenandoah River state park, downtown Luray, and Skyline Drive. Had a great time!”

”Lovely property out in the middle of nowhere and we didn’t see a single person during our stay! (We did, however, meet a very friendly dog during an evening stroll!) The property was very clean and well stocked. Looks just as nice as the pictures! I would advise bringing bottled water as what comes out of the tap is not easily drinkable. We had a fabulous time!”
