”The house is situated in a quiet, peaceful location with an incredible view. We watched lobster boats come and go and seals fishing in the bay. A fantastic place to spend a few days! The house is small and no-frills, but clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We appreciated how it was far enough from Bar Harbor to avoid the August crowds, but close enough to go there for the day. Check in/out was straightforward, and communication was excellent.”

We cooked a lot of meals and the kitchen is great for that, top notch equipment, as nice as our home kitchen plus some spices and sugar and so forth for convenience. The views are spectacular from anywhere in the house and we loved the shack that's on the rocks over the water. ”We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean and practically new. The back yard patio overlooking the woods was a great place to have coffee in the morning. Very quiet and secluded setting. The host was great, very friendly and accommodating. Even sent us to a couple of great local beaches one on a fresh water pond and another on the bay. I can’t think of anything not to like about our stay. We will definitely stay there again. ”

We noticed some areas could have been cleaned more thoroughly—particularly under the furniture and around the shower vent.
