”This is a very cozy cottage that feels like visiting your grandparents house or a summer lake/ hunting cabin, very spacious. We had a great time. We loved the porch swing, the smell of wood and old antique furnishings. It’s is nestled into a cute community of houses that have walking paths, everything is walking distance in Mt Gretna. A slice of Americana summer time paradise. ”

”The hideaway is a lovely house nestled on a shared property with a beautiful cottage. The view of the creek from the large picture window is beautiful and the perfect backdrop to sit and read. The house is immaculate and provides all the luxury needed for a short relaxing stay. The view of the cornfields across from the porch takes you back to days gone by. ”

”SO many good things about this place - fab front porch: great enclosed side porch for eating; fans in both those areas; quality appliances and kitchenware for eating/ cooking; good lights for reading in living area; walking distance of all the "hot" spots; nicely cleaned; lots of helpful explanations, neatly typed, around equipment in the house; wonderful old hinges and doorknobs to add charm; a fun hunt to find the bedroom closets (at first I thought there weren't any); linen and towels...

”A wonderful home to relax in, perfect for families. The location is excellent to enjoy all that Mount Gretna has to offer - the Jigger Shop, playground and beach were a hit with the kids, summer concerts and Hideaway a hit with the adults! Mount Gretna is a great place to explore Central PA from - head to Hershey a short drive away or over to Roots Market on a Tuesday for Pennsylvania Dutch Treats. We cannot recommend this home from home highly enough!”

”Beautiful space; it's clear how much the owners put into the design and layout they created, including the pool. Peaceful! And they were so quick to respond to my messages, coming to shock the pool for us and even sending me a screenshot of the shampoo/conditioner that I'd loved! The only thing I think is worth mentioning is that the upstairs room did get hot. We were there on hot days...but I needed to keep the AC on 65 to really cool the space up there. This meant there was a distinct temp...

”My family and I (husband, me, 4 kids ages 6-13) had a wonderful time in Lancaster! This house was in the perfect location to go explore and do the different things we wanted. The house is cute and quaint. It was the perfect size for our family of 6. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. One bathroom. Spacious kitchen and dining area. We were able to relax in the evenings. It is close to the road so you do hear cars and Amish buggies go by in the evening. That was unexpected but...
