”Staff were amazing on reception and a shout out to the male manager(?) next door at Beefeater! Excellent service! Room was sufficient for our needs the only thing that would be great would be a smart tv in the room!”

”Room was cold so we put on the a/c. It blew cold air continually. We thought it would eventually blow warm air. At 3am my husband was so cold we decided to leave for home. The checkout lady told us we should have gone to her as it’s controlled at reception. Would have been good to know this.”

The flood was very poor the service very poor.The lack of singning for there different areas none existent. The room very nice for normal users but for some disabled like me it was a night mare. ”Spacious family room, however very hot and no A/C. Some window would open, others the hinge was faulty so did not stay open. Cleanliness ok.”

”We had a good stay at Premier Inn Durham North overall. When we arrived, there was an issue with our booking payment. We had already paid through Expedia, but at reception we were initially told that the payment had not gone through and that we would need to pay the full amount again. The receptionist was not very friendly at first and said that this was not their problem, which felt quite stressful after a long journey. In the end, he made a phone call and we were given our room, so the issue...

”The room was nice & clean , a bonus was the air conditioning as it was hot weather . We also ate evening meal there which was ok , breakfast was plentiful with a good choice . We only stayed one night on our way to Scotland & our daughter & family met us there to complete the journey . What was nice was that they were able to park & use the hotel for food / drinks etc . Thankyou we appreciated that 😊”

”Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel.”

”We stay here regularly whilst visiting family. I love it because everyone is very friendly, the beds are super comfy and there is a bath in the bathroom. It's walking distance into town even after a few drinks in the very reasonably priced bar! It's dog friendly too. Big carpark and surprisingly quiet after the bar closes. Usually football on the TV in the bar which keeps my husband happy (depending on play...) 😅 The Highfield is always our first choice when planning to come to Boro.”
