”The room was comfortable. I didn't notice on the property listing that a TV was not one of the amenities listed. I was there for a week for work and was not looking forward to being without a TV in the evenings. All it took was a text to the owner and a TV was delivered and set up in my room. I was very appreciative! So just be aware there is normally no TV. There were a couple of other issues - no iron in my room and I didn't have any way to adjust the cooling system. ”The cabin was impeccably clean and thoughtfully stocked. The location was perfect for us. Surrounded by Oak woodlands above Butte Creek, peaceful and beautiful. The wildflowers were everywhere during our visit! We arrived on a very hot day, 95 degrees. Thankfully they had turned the air conditioning on so we were immediately comfortable. Butte Creek was the perfect place to lounge and cool down with friends and family. Our group likes a little space and room to roam and we were not disappointed....

”Property was not clean when we showed up. Floors were dirty and beds left not made and unclean. House is very outdated. Heaters hardly worked. Heater in the living room we had to turn the thermostat to max for it to turn on and the one in the main bedroom seemed to not work at all. We had to wash the bedsheets before using. Luckily they did have a washer and dryer out back but the dryer also didnt seem to work properly. ”

”We were in town for graduation weekend at Chico State. All the options in Chico were ridiculously expensive so we chose this place. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable (although wish the bed in the main room was bigger than a queen). Overall it was a very comfortable stay and an easy drive to Chico.”

”The wife and I only spent a night in Chico and this house was a great place to unwind after a long day! Clean, comfortable and very cute! There's even a bonus room with a bar set-up and out door couches set up in the well tended back yard. The beds are comfortable and newer windows kept any outside noise outside. Will stay here again if it's not booked up!!”
