”A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

”Nice and clean - a good stay. The hosts were really great when I arrived quite late at night due to a missed train, and were really helpful in making sure I could get right into my room easily. I really appreciated their helpfulness and easy communication. There are a number of pets about the house including dogs, who make a bit of noise in the evening and early morning, but not too bad. I would be quite happy to stay here again.”

”Fantastic stay lovely hostess really went the extra mile to make our short break very special. Excellent breakfast and the surrondings were all in keeping. The room was very comfortable and quiet. ”If you are looking for a vfm option in West Bay this hotel is the place. We had room 7 on the first floor, spacious, whirlpool bath and even a teapot. In our opinion 2 negatives for this room, the mattress was way too soft and the seagulls from 0400hrs, can't really do anything about the 2nd being near the sea!!! The breakfast is quality, great choice and only £10 per day. The hotel is not statebor modern if that is what you are looking for, however the atmosphere and staff make up for it.”
