”Room was clean, we stayed in the lodge, so could park the car directly outside our room. Very dog friendly hotel, bar has a good selection of beers and wines,food was excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. ”

”A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Room was clean comfortably and so cosy! We were made to feel so welcomed and they kindly accommodated a veggie breakfast for us. ”Great welcome from the staff Room was spacious , clean and well presented. It's an old period pub/hotel so the shower room.eas compact but all perfectly fine. Bed was really comfortable and although my room was close to the road I wasn't disturbed at all through the night. I ate in the pub and the food was excellent, couldn't fault the service or the meal. I had the steak for main course and brownie for desert - amazing! Would definitely stay again if in the area Didn't have time to...

”We had a very pleasant five-night-stay in the end of April 2019. We felt very much at home enjoying Liz´ and Dave´s kind, attentive and helpful service throughout our stay in every respect. Tidiness and service were of a high standard. Breakfast gets our ten points out of ten, always suiting our needs. For us everything in the town was within a convenient walking distance with attractive routes to choose from.”
