”This was a brilliant stop over place on our long journey, clean, private and a relief from the car, setting upright for hours! I would definite recommend it. They had coffee and teas and microwave for quick meals be brought from lldil 10mins away. With a dining section opposite the TV, I was grateful after the long drive to just sit there with our TV meals!”

”The location is unbeatable for the historic dockyard (30 mtr) and gunwharf quay and rail station. Good breakfast nicely cooked and tasty. The rooms are to a modern decor with fans for the heat, as there is no air con. We had room 25 which is small, but adequate. The bathroom is the smallest I have ever had with a basin that is tiny. Good shower cubicle that takes most of the space. We would stay there again but not in 25.”

”Breakfast very poor. Quality of food poor, sausages undercooked, bacon swimming in grease, fried eggs hard. Had to ask for milk, tea spoons and hot water. Coffee and hot water pot not labelled. Tables not cleaned and small bin over flowing. Room fan and 2 table lights not working . Shower gel empty on arrival. No information in room about hotel all done on a QR code.which is not practical for all.”

”The hotel is situated in a residential area close to the seafront and within walking distance to good restaurants and pubs. The rooms are tight for two people with luggage and there are no lifts. There are a few properties associated with the hotel so I can only comment on the one beside the cabin garden restaurant that is part of the hotel and where we were located. The rooms are clean, the bed for two people was small. The doors in this building, unless people are considerate and close them...

”A clean and comfortable room which had all we needed. Parking was in a nearby multilevel carpark, a 5 min walk away. Staff were very helpful and friendly at all times.”
