”Absolutely beautiful cabin set in the middle of an apricot orchard with wood burning stoves in each room and heaters in the beds. The service was fantastic and the food was great. We're going back. ”
”We loved our stay at Le Mentok resort. Stayed there for 4 nights and it was a very pleasant experience. It is an ideal property if one is looking for a relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of the town and main markets. We had no problems getting around to see other places whenever we wanted to by simply booking a taxi. The resort is well maintained and the staff is very helpful. The quality of food at their restaurant was also very good.

One of the best driver I have every driven with (and you will need it because of rough terrain). ”Norbu the hotel GM was excellent. He personally made sure that the stay was comfortable and any of our needs were addressed. In fact, while embarrassing to state in a review, we ran out of cash and he lent us Rs. 5000/= going out of the way. That was a very trusting gesture on his part. Norbu also helped us get the visitor permit from the local DM’s office which helped us move forward with our trip. ”Good location, 4 minutes walk to the Leh market. At check out they told me that they couldn't accept credit cards. Since I didn't have enough cash, they gave me their phone number and told me to pay using an application when I get home. Wow, how trustful!!!
The only thing I did not like was that there was no heating. They provided a small heater but that wasn't enough. There was plenty of hot water.
What I liked the most was the food, so fresh and so good. I could say it is the best hotel...
”I really enjoyed both my stays at The Pal. It's a very nice property, well-kept, a convenient short walk from the main market. The stroll down the street never got old.
The room was tidy. The shower was plenty refreshing after an 8-day trek. Breakfast was good.
