”Location was excellent but the main road was busy with cars parked on double yellow lines outside the entrance to the property. Nice modern apartment. We had to replace the batteries in the remotes as none worked . The yard needs weeding. The bedding was low quality. The first night was peaceful as there was no one if the flat above us however the second was dreadful. We could hear constant footsteps running up and down . Shouting and screaming kids. Tv was on full blast . Went on till gone 11...

”This hotel was probably state of the art 35/40 yrs ago. It’s very well photographed but in honesty… it’s awful. Rooms are worn out, carpets in places are threadbare. Bathroom had various it’s broken or loose. In the evenings was a constant smell of over cooked vegetables that was very unpleasant. Having spoken to locals it’s recently been taken over but it’s in need of HUGE investment I (and neither will my colleagues) definitely won’t be staying there again.”

”The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

”Shower was poor. Some of the rooms are being renovated but we were in a room that hadn’t been so decor & bathroom tiles were in a poor state. There was no where to hang clothes. The staff were very friendly & polite”

”Room was very clean but bath was cracked and shower screen leaked all over the floor so got out of shower and there was more water onnthe floor than ran down the drain, stayed in the townhouse on the opposite side of the road and was very quiet indeed, rooms are named after colours and I was in the room named "scarlet" needless to say EVERYTHING was red, not really to my taste but was quite a quirky thing. Bed was very comfortable and staff were extremely pleasant as well. Would definitely stay...

”Lovely stay, everything you needed. Food was great, evening meal and breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only down side is the building is dated and there was no fridge in the room.”

”Hotel looking very tired. 3 black bin bags and a broken cup remained in the corridor for 2 days and was still there when I left. Booked a double room but was given one with 3 beds, window didn’t open. Nowhere to put any wash bags etc in the bathroom. Bed was comfy and food was ok. Be aware if you book to stay via a third party app like Expedia, the hotel will charge you £10 per night to park in the car park”
