The host communicated promptly and ensured we had all necessary information ahead of our stay. It was an excellent choice for our family fishing trip.”

”This was a lovely space to stay. We were there for diving at Mermet Springs. It is not far from town and easy to get to. For those diving it has a washer and dryer that worked great for wet things. Nice patio for eating outside. We would definately stay again if it's available when we are there”

”The host was amazing! Gave so many wonderful recommendations of things to do in the area as well as help us choose which hiking paths to walk for our group. Clear directions so the place was very easy to find. This cozy little cottage was clean and had all the little touches to make you feel at home. We would absolutely stay here again!”

”Property was misrepresented. Was supposed to be 2 bedroom 2 bath handicapped accessible with ramp. They assigned us a one room 2 bed no ramp not handicapped accessible. We called after arrival then the host did not respond to 2 phone calls and a text message. When they finally got back to us they said they were sorry they assigned the wrong cabin to us. I asked for full refund called VRBO and asked for help with this. Now Verbo wants us to fight for our refund instead of just taking care of it.”

”Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.”

”Beautiful log home. The view of the lake couldn’t be better. Be aware that there are many, many steps to the water, but they are not steep. We are over 70 years old and were able to handle them, although we can feel it in our calves today. It was a plus to have the electric hot water pot. My husband likes his coffee in the morning, but I prefer tea. Perfect for us!”
