”This home had it all! It was warm and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you could ask for. It was a perfect place to celebrate a milestone birthday with friends. The location was close to Lake George. There was a lot of snow and below zero temperatures so we were not able to enjoy the outside so we will be back!! The hosts were very responsive and the house was spotless. Thank you for sharing your home with us.”

”The home owner canceled our reservation only hours before we were scheduled to arrive. They had frozen pipes in the house which indicates extremely poor maintenance by the homeowner. There are ways to avoid these situations. I want to make sure this is reported to VRBO. He should not be allowed to have a rental unit. ”

Positive: -Easy Check-in, they even let us arrive an hour early. -Inside was clean, inviting and stocked with towels.-Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed except sharp knives, but I picked up a sharpener and left it for the next guests. -The indoor space was as described. -The outside front porch was cleanNegative: -The "Steps" to the dock are a huge accident waiting to happen. The rocks are loose and there are no longer steps...

”The description and pictures on the listing unfortunately did not match what we encountered. The house appeared clean, beds were comfortable, however that is where the good ends. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with overflowing and stinky trash cans from the previous guests right near the front door. Flies and bees swarming.
