”We visited during the summer on our road trip through New England. The town was completely dead. I can imagine it's wonderful in the winter but we were a bit disappointed. The hotel was very nice with good additional services. The spa seemed to be very small so during the peak season I would imagine it gets really growded. The staff was friendly and overall I'm happy with the place (+ we got the nigth at a bargain price). The breakfast was nothing to write home about.”

”Stayed in 2 bedroom lots of space but lacked helpful amenities. No place in bath to put personal items need a shelf or hooks. Small kitchen area had no light at all overhead or lamps. Not enough electrical outlets had to unplug coffee maker to use microwave. One bedroom could use a chair “continental breakfast” but milk in fridge was outdated for cereal or coffee. Very poor quality upgrades. Location good and outdoor space lovely.”

”My husband and I stayed at the Manchester View for 5 days while we were looking at houses. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room and it was wonderful. The room was so comfortable and spacious we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend the Manchester View to anyone and if we ever have an overflow of relatives that come to visit, they will be staying at the Manchester View.”

”Older motel not too far from the center of town. Motel is operated remotely. If I hadn't run into a resident guide, I would have had a problem getting into my room. There was a phone number on the wall in the community kitchen. I stayed in room one closest to the main road. Typical Expedia room either by the road, next to an elevator shaft or across from the indoor pool (I have snagged all three types of rooms over the years). Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. ”We have been coming here for almost twenty years. The property could use a little tlc, but it also has a lot of charm. Pablo at the front desk was the best attendant we have ever had. He really made the experience better. Our AC was not working but within minutes an engineer came up and was able to fix it no problem. Room was very clean with lots of towels. Only downside was that the hot tub was broken for most of our stay. We LOVE the hot tub so that was a major bummer for us. But we will be...

”Rooms were very clean, great coffee in the room. The resort(the actual area in general )is in “mud month”. Very few restaurants and stores were open. Not the fault of the resort. Refrigerator needed to be requested. The views were spectacular and the lobby was beautiful ”

”It is a lovely beautiful place, we visited at the end of snow season but I bet that this place is beautiful in fall foliage, summer and winter! Me and my best friend stayed at this amazing, cozy and family owned lodge and we will definitely be back we our friends and family. Lisa is very sweet, attentive and has two beautiful cats. ”
