”Phone call from staff to confirm my credit card prior to arrival was not friendly, and was abrupt. I was left feeling like I’d done something wrong. Check-in staff were friendlier and were clearly in training as process took time, but I’d rather a friendly customer oriented attitude than the first person I talked with. ”
”The Otter was a great stay for our 6 night stay in the town of Banff. Nestled at the end of the Main Street away from the crowds, it was a perfect and QUIET area to stay. We used the hot tub outside almost every night after long days of hiking and the restaurant within the hotel is fairly new, but one of the BEST we tried in Banff (ate out pretty much every evening). I would recommend.
Perks: free bus passes and bear spray (free if you don’t use it!) so that was a nice plus.

”If you're lucky, you will have a great view of the mountain & river from your balcony. The staff are friendly too. Location is just few blocks away from the busy street of banff (stores & all). And you can catch up your bus to Gondola within 10mins walk from this lodge.”
