Secluded Escape near Fairy Stone State Park, Virginia
Brand new romantic cabin overlooking the Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountains, with a two story stone gas log fireplace and a fully furnished kitchen it’s the perfect location to spend time with someone special.
This 12 acre site, located just a short drive from Roanoke, and 6 miles from Fairy Stone, plus other Virginia state parks, and the Gordon Trent Golf course.
With hiking, swimming, boating, and other outdoor activities nearby there is always something going on during the day.
The property boast’s several natural springs and wildlife. Rumors are that the one spring was used by fairies to drink from and the ladles are still hanging on the tree.
Night life is quiet, but only a short drive to the famous Floyd’s Country Store, where live local music is played, or just stay at the cabin and enjoy a cozy fire around the fire pit.
Paved road access and a short ride to several local wineries.
This cabin is the perfect spot for a stress free recharge.
Note: Cabin is about 30 minutes from several towns, like Floyd, Stuart, Bassett and misc other small towns, but there are several local mini marts and gas stations within 15 minutes. The water is from a well and there is an abundance of wild life in the area. It is a cabin in the woods.

Fantastic View!
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We particularly liked the wonderful view and the quiet location. The place is in new condition and very clean. The owner was welcoming, and communication was easy. I highly recommend!

Cute Little Cabin
The cabin itself was very cute and clean. No toiletries like soap provided which would have been nice. Usually vrbos will have basic items one may need. The hot water smelled very bad so showering was not pleasant. It smelled like rotten eggs, I am assuming a sulfur smell. Also I did not realize there was no wifi but I had service and it was fine, not a big deal. Great for a weekend but would not want to stay more than a couple of days. The property itself was very pretty but the surrounding "homes" were sketchy looking. At night it was a little warm as there is no AC and I was hesitant to open a window. Out in the middle of nowhere for sure, the nearest store was 27 minutes away so come with supplies. The owner was very responsive and the cabin very clean. Bed and pillows could have been more comfortable but not bad. Great place if you are looking to get off the grid for a while.

Unplugged View
Amazing long-range views of the mountains in a remote setting. Perfect place to unplug from the busyness of life and allow the beauty of nature to replace the cell phone.
We rated the cleaning as three-star primarily due to a miscue with the cleaning company but Greg, the owner, quickly addressed the issue. Stuff happens and it is how it is addressed that separates good from great...

Beautiful Getaway
This cabin is great. The location has a beautiful view of the mountains. The place was very clean and organized. It's very quiet and that makes for a great way to unplug. Everything was new as well, the inside has a new smell as well. Anyone who visits here won't be disappointed.

Perfect Cabin
This cabin is exactly what we were looking for! We wanted a cute getaway spot near Fairy Stone State Park for us and our two kiddos. This cabin checked all the boxes.
The cabin is cozy but it has all the amenities we needed; full size fridge, hot showers, and a stunning view of the mountains. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck, followed by a hike at the park, and then back to the cabin for lunch. In the afternoon we went hunting for fairy stones at the park hunt site, participated in two Ranger led activities at the park, and then went back to the cabin for dinner on the deck.
We brought all our own food and didn't need to find a restaurant or grocery store. We didn't see any stores besides the Fairy Stone Pit Stop gas station but Flloyd isn't far away and we would highly recommend a visit there if you wanted restaurants or a fun evening at the Floyd Country Store.
The cabin is immaculate, communication with the host was easy, and we had a wonderful time. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
