”Stayed just one night, also had drinks at the pub, easy access to Sherborne town centre, wheres plenty of shops, bars, cafes,Restaurants. Free parking if you are staying in hotel, for 24 hours. Register your car at reception. Had bath&shower which im happy to have. Clean,and very white bedding and towels, hangers, tea making facilities. . Comfortable bed. Staff i came into contact with were very nice. Would stay again next time im visiting friends in Sherborne. ”

”The front of house staff are wonderful. A lovely welcome from Jenny on check in. This is a lady who has mastered hospitality. Evening staff are almost as good making for a great experience. Room was great apart from the yappy dog next door! Overall, recommended.”

”Mukava vanhan ajan majatalo, joka sopi sijainniltaan hyvin yöpymispaikaksi matkalla kanaalisaarille (n. 10 min kävelyn päässä Poolen satamasta). Huoneessa ei muuta moittimista kuin vanhanaikaiset ikkunat, joiden äänieristys oli olematon ja jo loppukesän yönä huone oli melko viileä. Korvatulpat takasivat silti rauhalliset unet. Aamupala hyvä brittiaamiainen ja henkilökunta niin respassa kuin aamupalalla oli kohteliasta.”

”It’s very nice, if you can find it. On Sunday there are no buses into Poundbury so you have to walk through the development. There’s minimal signage and few people around to get directions. The B&B itself is quite nice and my room,#8, was quiet with a view for miles over the countryside. Ideal location to catch the local bus to Lyme Regis.”

”Chosen as it was close to Longleat, parking was off site but easy walking distance, had evening meal and breakfast, both of which were cooked well and used locally sourced ingredients. The pub is made up of lots of small rooms, mainly off the main corridor which gives it a quirky feel. Would recommend and would use again.”

”A few of my colleagues have stayed here over a few nights and said how lovely the owner was and he assisted when Expedia didn't send through the booking quick enough but was kind enough to put up in an upgraded room at no extra cost to ourselves - highly recommend and will definitely be using this accommodation again when my trainers are down that way.”

”GOOD APART FROM CHOOSING THE HOTEL WITH INTENTION OF USING THE FACILITY OF THE BAR TO FIND IT CLOSED AT 7PM WHICH WAS DISAPPOINTING. THE ROOM WAS SPOTLESSLY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.”

”Everything was great, the room, the food and the pub. The staff were friendly, polite and friendly. The only problem was the breakfast didn’t start until 8am which is a little late for a business traveller but amazing cooked to order breakfast. Will definitely come back.”
