”We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a place to stay in Yosemite. The property is clean and safe surrounding. Nice view. The only thing we didn’t like is when our cars was been pulled and park in the different spot. I believed they have a hiking trail that they want to clear the drive way but there’s an enough place to park and pass even if our cars are park in front of our rental cabin. ”Nice lived-in cabin for 4 to stay comfortably (max 4 because everyone has to share the same shower). Plenty of space for indoor and outdoor relaxation. Great location for accesssing Yosemite Valley or Mariposa Grove (about 35 minutes from each) without having to enter through the park entrance ranger station. This location allowed access to the park twice in the same day when we wanted to hike early, come home for a rest, and then return to Yosemite Valley in the evening.”

”The cabin is well equipped and decorated with memorabilia from the 50’s and 60’s. I recognized so much from my youth…my teenage granddaughters were shocked hear me identify people and things they never heard of. Truly a step back in time. We were able to traverse many Yosemite highlights from this location in Wawona from within the NP.”

”We loved this property! So spacious and comfortable. Perfect for the six of us. An easy 45 minute drive to Yosemite Valley. Loved the wood burning stove. The kitchen was spacious, the beds were comfy. A late season storm almost snowed us in. The owners’ staff were incredibly helpful and kind. They brought us a snow shovel and even helped find some snow chains for our car. We’re definitely coming back to this house!”

”We had a good stay here once we were able to get into the house--the message we received with check-in information provided both the wrong house number and wrong door code. We could not reach the property manager to get the correct code (granted, we arrived at around 11pm and VRBO was able to eventually reach them), but fortunately we guessed the correct code. The wifi also went out completely 2 days into our stay. The house did have everything we needed and proximity to the valley was great.”

”My friends and I weren't able to book two consecutive nights in Yosemite, so we booked a one night stay at this property for our last night on the trip. It was very comfortable, warm, and quiet after a long day of hiking in the rain and cold. It's about an hour drive from the entrance to Yosemite National Park. Clean, straightforward check in and check out, and the hosts were communicative, although we didn't require any assistance during our stay.”

It was more remote than I was expecting but we came prepared with groceries for the duration of our stay so was not a problem that there were no restaurants nearby. ”Perfect, cozy cottage to stay at with my teen grand daughters. We used it as home base while we hiked Yosemite, only 1 hour from entrance. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed, and very clean. Cliff promptly answered all my questions. We loved our stay.”
