”Only problem was that one elevator was out of order while we were staying, so it was a long wait for some of the people waiting to check out.”

”The hotel was in an excellent location as we hiked a lot in the Smoky Mountains and walked around Gatlinburg. The only problem was the parking; it was so tight in both the upper level and garage that many times we were within inches trying to get around cars. Not always the fault of the hotel, people never pulled all the way forward, but when they did, it was still very tight.”

”For this to be a Marriott I was disappointed. One light fixture over the nightstand was loose and falling. Hair in several places on the bathroom floor. Stains on the carpet and on the lobby chairs. Was nowhere near what I was expecting from a Marriott.”

”Hillbilly heaven. The pool was great! Room was clean and nice enough for the price point. Noice level in the surrounding rooms was pretty intense. Breakfast was not included, and the pool side cafe food was trailer-park level, low-grade, instant cook garbage and cost $35 for 2 very basic and kinda gross plates. Highly recommend eating breakfast elsewhere.”

”What a wonderful hidden gem tucked away by the river. My wife and I will definitely be going back. Most of the hotels in that area and used and abused from some many people coming there to stay. The Econolodge has tried their best to provide a really nice little hotline the area.”

”The place its self is beautiful. The location is amazing. What was frustrating is on expedia they dont tell you about the addition security deposit. They also did not give us the code information until we were 10 minutes out. That was frustrating because we through it might have been a scam. Also there were packages left outside. We were asked to bring them in. Thats fine we did no problem but there was no where to put then that was not in our way.”

”I was very nervous bc of the price being so affordable, BUT we were very surprised and pleased with our entire visit! There wasnt much interaction with the staff, but we did forget our keys in the room one night and she fixed us right up immediately. The breakfast was really good to be included! The room was excellent! Very very clean. The beds were firm and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very nice. The balcony was plain, but we stayed out there the most.
