Great location and unit, Poor attention to guest needs
This house was spacious for a group of 12 (8 adults and 4 kids, ages 5-8). Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom which was amazing. Property manager is very communicative and helpful. Amazing location - 1 block walking distance to the beach. This is the kind of place we would return to every year - except the house didn’t come with nearly enough supplies for a group of 12, who were traveling from all over the country and were staying for a week. The unit only provided 6 bath towels, 1 pack of TP (4 rolls), no dishwashing or laundry detergent. No basic cooking supplies beyond utensils, some pots/pans, plates, and cups. We spent the better part of our first day of vacation buying all of that. The unit comes with standard appliances, but the property manager informed me the dishwasher was not working before we arrived. She took care of it right away, which I appreciated. The dryer didn’t work though so we couldn’t dry our beach towels! It rained all week so outdoor line drying wasn’t an option. The property manager is truly great though- v. responsive and tried to find solutions. Seems like the owner is stubborn or cheap -says they only provide “starter supplies” which is wild to me. There are many rental units in the area and it is not asking for too much to expect working appliances and bath towels and TP rolls for the group size/duration. Not a good look to nickel dime basic guest needs like that with all the competition in the area. Great house but plan accordingly!
