”We chose this location as a convenient launching point for Lassen and the nearby area. Those plans changed when Lassen closed, but our stay at the Meyers Ranch House was perfect. The first day was smoke free. We hiked from the back door and spent time swimming and kayaking at the delightful swimming hole on the ranch. “Delightful” isn’t a fair description. ”Traveled to the area for the 4th of July weekend. It was busy in all of the lake communities but not “Tahoe busy”. The house decor was very Patriotic. Only the bedrooms have window AC units making the living room/kitchen area less enjoyable with the heatwave California was experiencing. Ceilings fans and extra box fans were appreciated and used. We had a few instances of not enough hot water (there were 5 of us showering in pretty close secession). Communication with the property manager was...

”We had an amazing trip to Lake Almanor for Labor Day. We have been staying with friends for years since our kids were little and now they are older and bringing extras so we needed a second house to fit all of us. This house did not disappoint. The house was clean and had everything you could possibly need. The view from the deck was awesome and the boat dock was very convenient.Thank you for renting to us!”
